Ketone monitoring
Ketones in your urine are the result of the breakdown of fat stores. You should test you urine for ketones once or twice a week, using the first morning urine sample. If ketones are too high or are present on a regular basis, you may not be eating enough. Your diet many need to be changed, more food may be added, and/ or your night snack may need to be changed.
